Reference files

Uploads are session-bound. Each skill folder has multiple files — attach as many as you need for the task, not just SKILL.md.

    Download and unzip a topic pack

    Start with Social Media Starter Kit. Each folder is a complete skill with all supporting files.

    Open meta.ai

    Use meta.ai where “Add media or files” is available. Availability varies by region.

  3. 3

    Attach the full skill folder contents

    Upload all files from the skill folder you need — SKILL.md, evals/, references/, and the rest. Re-upload when starting a new chat.

  4. 4

    Paste if upload is unavailable

    If file upload is limited, paste SKILL.md plus key content from references/ into your first message.

  5. 5

    Name the skill in every prompt

    Meta AI has no skill router — be explicit: “Follow the caption-writer instructions I uploaded and write five options.”

Tips

  • Do not expect cross-session memory for uploaded files — treat each chat as fresh.
  • WhatsApp/Messenger Meta AI surfaces have tighter limits and may not analyze documents the same way as meta.ai.
