Install on Claude.

Upload each skill as its own ZIP through Customize → Skills. Claude invokes them automatically when relevant.

Native Skills upload

Upload one complete skill folder per ZIP — including evals/, references/, and any other files inside. Do not zip only SKILL.md. You cannot bulk-install a topic pack as one ZIP; zip each skill separately.

Before you start

  • Turn on Code execution and file creation in Settings → Capabilities (or ask your org owner on Team/Enterprise).
  • Skills require the code execution environment — they will not work without it.
  1. 1

Download and unzip a topic pack

Grab a pack from the list below (Starter Kit is a good first pick). Unzip it — each subfolder is one skill with SKILL.md, evals/, references/, and other files.

  2. 2

    Zip each complete skill folder

For each skill, zip the entire folder with all its contents — not just SKILL.md. Example: reels-script.zip contains reels-script/SKILL.md, reels-script/evals/, reels-script/references/, etc. The folder name must match the name field in SKILL.md frontmatter.

  3. 3

    Open Customize → Skills

In Claude (web or desktop), go to Customize → Skills at claude.ai/customize/skills. Toggle on any built-in skills you want alongside yours.

  4. 4

    Upload each skill ZIP

Click + → Create skill → Upload a skill. Select one skill ZIP, wait for it to appear in your list, then repeat for the next skill. There is no multi-skill upload.

  5. 5

    Enable and test

Toggle each uploaded skill on. Start a chat and ask for something the skill covers — e.g. “write a Reels script for our launch.” Claude picks skills from their description, or you can say “use my reels-script skill.”

Tips

  • Upload brand-profile and voice-builder first — most other skills assume those exist.
  • If Claude ignores a skill, tighten the description in SKILL.md frontmatter so it clearly states when to use it.
  • Skills on claude.ai are per-user. Teammates must upload separately unless your org owner provisions skills org-wide.
